FROSTBURG- Katherine Fay “Katie Fay” Miller,75, of Carlos, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born October 11, 1941 in Frostburg she was the daughter of Roy J. DeVault and the late Beatrice (Fatkin) DeVault. She is also preceded in death by a brother Kenneth DeVault. Katie Fay had a long career as a bookkeeper and office manager for many local businesses and retired from Bauer Self Storage. She enjoyed taking care of her family and spending time with them. She is survived by her father Roy J. DeVault, her brother John Roy DeVault of Carlos, and her sister in law Norma DeVault of Carlos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, William Weslow of Frostburg; Cheri Llewellyn of Carlos; Kip DeVault of Frostburg; and Dianna McMeins of South Carolina; and several grand nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 3 – 5:30 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
