Mark Wayne Llewellyn, 59, of Cumberland passed away suddenly on August 21, 2019 at his home. He was born August 29, 1959, in Barstow California. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Llewellyn and Angela M. (Layman) Llewellyn. Mark graduated from Beall High School in 1977. He worked at D&D Motors until an early retirement in 2012. He was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Frostburg. Mark was a very compassionate man who went out of his way to help others whenever he could. Like his mother, he had a kind heart and gentle spirit. Like his father, he was a talented musician who loved music and played in several local area bands throughout his life. He also loved working with computers and watching classic television shows and movies on his home theater. Mark was devoted to both family and friends and will be dearly missed by them. He is survived by one brother, Dale Llewellyn and his wife Tara, Crestview, Florida and two sisters, Carolyn Llewellyn, Cumberland, and Laura (Llewellyn) Lewis and her husband Ron, Cumberland. A viewing will be held at Sowers Funeral Home on 60 W Main Street in Frostburg on Friday, August 23 between 2-4p.m. A short memorial service will immediately follow with Deacon Harold C. Bradley officiating.
