Alice Wright

Front Royal- Alice T. Wright, 89, of Front Royal Heritage Hall, passed away on November 13, 2016 in Front Royal, Va. Alice was born in Carlos, Md. to the late Steve and Mary (Morgan) Adams on April 10, 1927. She went to school at Beall High School. She married Paul E. Wright on December 31, 1945 in Eckhart, Md. Alice is preceded in death by her husband Paul Wright, 4 Sisters, 2 Brothers, oldest son Stephen Wright Sr, of Stephens City, Va. and great grandson Tyler Hunter Wines of Front Royal, Va. Alice is survived by her four children, Edward Wright of Eckhart, Md., Francis Wright and wife Helen, of Front Royal, Va, William Wright and wife Linda, of Mt. Jackson, Va., and Mary Alice Wright Ashcraft and husband Ronald, of Front Royal, Va. Alice is survived by 21 grandchildren, Leslie Smith, Stephen Wright Jr., David Wright, Holly Pierce, Kevin Wright, Kari Gomer, Shari Wright, Charles Smith, Richard Smith, Ronald (Billy) Smith, Brian Smith, Brenda Smith, Donald Gue, Helen Gue, Cristen Quinlan, Tammy May-Howard, Megan Rhodes, Beverly Ashcraft-Miller, Patricia Ashcraft, Jillian Ashcraft and Trina Ashcraft. 55 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren. Family and Friends Night will be 7-9 pm Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Sowers Funeral Home of 60 W. Main St. Frostburg, Md. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 18, 2016 at Sowers Funeral Home with the Rev. John Haynes of Strasburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Eckhart Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Front Royal Heritage Hall 400 Strasburg Road, Front Royal, VA 22630, or Alzheimer’s Association.
