Betty Ann Scott ,73, passed away on April 5, 2024 at the Devlin Manor. On this day her spirit ascended to Heaven where she lay her Crowns of Glory at the Father’s Feet. He looked her full in the face and said, “Welcome home my good and faithful servant.”
She awaits in Heaven for her loving husband of 54 years, George and her two children Katrina (Bill) and Andrew (Michell), her three grandchildren, Alysha, Jake (McKayla), Bethany, her two adopted grandchildren, Alishia (Corey) Rexrode, and Courtney (Jamel) Evans, and her nine great-grandchildren, Brad, Parker, Landyn, Sonny, Ben, Harper, Kensley, Brit, and Madisyn, and sister, Karen (Herman)Fiorita.
Betty was born in Frostburg on May 30, 1950, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Dorothy (Lancaster) Wolford. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Frankenberry and Lois Lewis, and brother, Paul Wolford. Betty worked as a nurse for 30 years at the Allegany Nursing and Rehab. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene.
Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gary Barkley officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
