Constance "Connie" Burl

FROSTBURG- Constance "Connie" Lee Burl, 78, of Frostburg died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born on September 17, 1937 in Mt. Savage, Connie was the daughter of the late James William McKenzie and Hanna E. (Wright) McKenzie. She is preceded in death by one brother , nine sisters and a great granddaughter Tiffany Marie Adams, and special friends "June Bug" Jones and Elsie Fazenbaker. Connie was a graduate of Beall High School Class of 1955 and a Baptist by faith. She worked at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Thomas and husband Eddie of Frostburg; and her son Artie Burl and wife Linda of Frostburg; grandchildren, Lauri Thomas and fiancée Kevin Britton and Eddie "Bud" Thomas and fiancée Tami Rogers, great grandchildren, Tyler Crowe, Hunter Crowe, Madison Garlitz, and a sister Dorothy Klosterman. Also, surviving are special friends Rose Sevinsky and Glenda Boor. At the request of Connie, her body will be cremated. Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley oficiating.
