Darlene Kay Lynch

Glencoe — Darlene Kay Lynch, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on September 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 22, 1955, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late David Swauger and Myrtle (Harbel) Swauger.

Darlene had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She especially enjoyed kayaking, bike riding and birdwatching, activities that brought her great joy. She also loved playing cards with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dennis, and her sons: Charles Lynch (Hollie), Sam Lynch (Megan), and Max Lynch (Chezney). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Mason, Callie, and Emersyn. Her sisters, Jo Bender (Rick) and Doris Gertler (Alan), also survive her. Also, foster grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Sowers Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon, officiated by Pastor Jim Jeffries.
