Delores "Doe" Harden

FROSTBURG- Delores “Doe” Harden, 95, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Peace Healthcare.

Born April 14,1928 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Glen and Elizabeth (Skidmore) Harden. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James W. Harden and sister-in-law , Joan (Scott) Harden.

Doe retired from Memorial Hospital after working 30 years as a nurse anesthetist.  She was a lifetime Member of Salem United Church of Christ. She was happiest when spending time at her home along the Casselman River with family and friends and a German Shepherd dog, Leroy.

Doe is survived by brother, Ronald Glen Harden and wife, Dora, and son Ronald, brother, Leo Harden, his daughter Elizabeth Schreiber, and her husband Craig, and their son, Clayton, sister-in-law, Charlotte (Bridges) Harden and her daughter Rhonda Anne Hose, her husband Gene and son Eddie.  Doe was blessed with cousins, friends, good neighbors, and a wonderful church family.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and all services will be private.

Delores always said, “Thank you, Heavenly Father for the beauty of your creation and for all the wonderful caring people you have put in my life.”
