Donnagene Witt

Donnagene (Bridges) Witt, 68, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland surrounded by her family. Born on September 12, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Letha (Pugh) Bridges. She is also preceded in death by her sister Vicki DeVore.

Donnagene was a member of Zion Community Church. She was a barber and employed at the LaVale Plaza Barbershop. Donnagene loved being a barber and loved people, she didn’t have customers, she had lifelong friends. She valued and loved her family more than anything in the world. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved traveling and going on small trips.

She is survived by her husband Roger Witt, son, Kevin Witt and wife Melanie of Herndon, VA; daughter, Kim Schrock, and partner Rodney Davis of Wellersburg; grandchildren, Trent Schrock and fiancée Jasmine Webster, Braxton Witt, and Ariel Witt, brother, Eugene Bridges, II and wife Lisa of Chesapeake, VA.

Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral on Monday, December 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
