Frances Sweitzer

FROSTBURG- Frances Jean Sweitzer,66, of Vale Summit passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.

Born in Frostburg, Frances was the daughter of the late Herbert and Betty Jean (Blubaugh) Sweitzer.

Frances was a 1973 graduate of Beall High School. She had worked for Social Services in Allegany County and she was a member of Eckhart United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Moose, Eagles, American Legion, and the Humane Society.

She is survived by many cousins, best friends, Donnie "Burt" Bittinger , and Debi Bittinger, many friends from Little Meadows Campground, and her beloved dogs, Bennie, Chumly, and Zsa Zsa.

Frances enjoyed camping and she loved her dogs.

In accordance with Frances’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.

Memorial donations may be sent to the Humane Society.
