Gerald Neil Sween

 Gerald Neil Sween, 84, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Allegany Health and Nursing Rehab.

Born in Frostburg on June 23, 1938, he was the son of the late Wanford and Regina (Howsare) Sween Blank.  Gerald is preceded in death by his wife Peggy and step-father Arthur Blank.

Gerald had worked at the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Plant, Pinkerton Guard Security, and the Mt. Savage Brickyard.

He loved to take long walks and bike ride the WO &D and Allegany Trails.

He is survived by his son, David Sween, and daughter, Regina Tyrrell (Ken), grandchildren, Madison, Alexandra, Kyle, Josh, and Abby.  Also surviving are brothers Gary Sween (Ginger), Gene Blank (Connie), Rob Blank (Anna), and Mike Blank (Kathy), and sister, Linda Carter (Joe).

A Memorial service will be held at the Sowers Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
