James Leo Barry

FROSTBURG- James Leo Barry, 87 passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born September 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Leo J. and Susan (Skidmore) Barry. He is also preceded in death by his wife Martha Ann Hardegen.

He served his country in the U.S. Army, and he worked at the ABL, PPG, and the Allegany County Roads.

He was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael’s Church, and the Frostburg Elks.

He is survived by a son, Mark Barry, his caregiver, Diane Douty and her children, Crystal Brown and Rocky Douty who cared for Jim for the last seven years.

At the request of Mr. Barry, there will be no services.

  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
