Jerry Lee Lancaster

 Jerry Lee Lancaster, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born August 20, 1946 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of David G. and Myrtle H. (Harbel) Swauger. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Morgan Beth Lancaster.

Jerry graduated from Frederick Hospital School of Nursing. She had worked as a nurse at Frostburg Community Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital and she retired from Western Maryland Health System.  She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Owen Lancaster, daughter, Rachael Kyle Lancaster and special friend Joey Gutierrez, and son David Matthew Lancaster and wife Erin, grandchildren, Page Lancaster, Angel and Bailey Gutierrez. Also surviving are sisters, Doris L. Gertler and husband Alan, Jo A. Bender and husband Richard, Darlene K. Lynch and husband Dennis, and Cheryl Davidson and special friend, Angela.

A memorial service will be held at Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Diane Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
