Joan Wade

FROSTBURG- Joan Marie Wade, 68, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland. Born April 6, 1952 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Donald Wade and the late Lenora (Folk) Fister Joan was retired from social services. She is survived by daughter, Stephanie Wampler of Frostburg, son, Shawn Wampler and wife Katryna of Virginia; grandchildren, Shawn, Eathan, Jordan, Addison, and Malia Rose; brother, Michael Wade and wife Shirley of Frostburg, and sister, Linda Durr and husband Gary of Short Gap. Due to Covid-19, visitation at Sowers Funeral Home will be private. A graveside service will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park on Thursday, July 16 at 1:30 with Pastor Dave Hattenfield officiating. Interment will follow.
