KEYSER-Louis McKee “Kee” Llewellyn, 70, of Keyser passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the Valley Medical Center in Winchester. Born in Frostburg on November 28, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles Louis and Thelma (Morgan) Llewellyn. Also, he was preceded in death by his step-daughter Crissy Kinsall.
Louis graduated from Bedford High School in 1969. He served his Country in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971 as a crew chief on the helicopters. Louis loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and climbing mountains. He was a Methodist by faith and had attended Mt. Savage Methodist Church. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapters in Cumberland and Bedford. Louis was also a former member of the Bedford Jaycees. He had worked as a welder for JLG Industries.
He is survived his wife, Betty (Miller) Llewellyn, step-son, Ted Kinsall and wife Eileen, step- grandchildren, Elizabeth Kinsall and Matthew Kinsall; sister, Paula and husband Jack Ternent; nephews, Chuck Ternent and wife Bethany, and Scott Ternent and friend Carisa; great-nephews, Garrett and Dawson Ternent; favorite Aunt, Anna Clark; and best friend Steve Foor.
Friends will be received at Sowers Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sandy Burchell officiating.
Interment will be in Woods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Savage United Methodist Church, 12619 New Row, Mt. Savage, MD 21545
