Madeline (Link) Elizabeth Sluss

Madeline (Link) Elizabeth Sluss of Frostburg passed away on May 23rd 2024, at Sterling Care in Frostburg. Born on January 22nd 1931, in Eckhart , she was the daughter of the late Louis O’Grince and Francis (Bollinger) O’Grince. Madeline was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters along with grandchildren Jennifer DelSignore, Ian DelSignore and Melissa Wozny.

 She is survived by 3 daughters, Debbie DelSignore of Frostburg, Brenda Wozny (Bob) of Muskegon MI and Nancy Sluss of Frostburg. Grandchildren are Tony DelSignore (Heather), Christine Wozny and Abigail Donaldson along with 5 great grandchildren.

 Madeline retired from the City of Frostburg where she worked as the tax collector. She was a long time member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church. For many years Madeline enjoyed monthly luncheons with her friends from her Beall High School graduating class of 1949. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Sterling Care for their loving care and friendship during Madeline’s 8 month stay

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday,  May 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael's Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Madeline’s memory may make contributions to Saint Michaels Catholic Church, 44 E Main Street, Frostburg.

Inurnment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
