Marcia Terese Landis

Marcia Terese Landis, 59,  of Eckhart passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday August 28,2023. Born on December 13,1963 she was the daughter of Harry Dale Landis Sr., and the late  Miriam K (Dilley) Landis, Eckhart. She was preceded in death by her mother Miriam (Dilley) Landis, a sister Katrina Landis, and a daughter Tia Jeanine Wilhem.

She is survived by her Father Harry D. Landis Sr., brothers Kenneth Landis Sr. (Shelley), Harry Landis Jr. (Gretchin), Dennis Landis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Marcia graduated from Beall High School in 1981. She worked at the "old" Sheetz in Frostburg and then went on to work at The Medicine Shoppe also in Frostburg for nearly 20 years, after which she was a sitter for the elderly and most recently, a caregiver for her father.

She was known for her big heart, big smile, and feisty personality. Although a shock for her family, they take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her daughter Tia whom she loved dearly. She will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved her.

 There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel in LaVale on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00 with the Reverend Matt Eichhorn officiating.
