Mildred Knepp

ECKHART- Mildred E. (Ryan) Knepp,91, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home in Eckhart. Born in Eckhart on July 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Eisentrout) Ryan. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Knepp, son, Harold Knepp, Jr., sister, Molly Booth, and brother, Bill Ryan. Mildred had worked at the blouse factory, King’s Dept. Store, and Davis Market. She was a member of Eckhart Baptist Church. Mildred loved to do word search puzzles. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Troutman and husband Robert, and Julie Crowe and husband David; grandchildren, Miranda Dawn Light, David Crowe, Jr., Robert Troutman III, Jack Rafferty, Jr., and Danielle Troutman. Also, a great-grandchild Oliver Light, brothers, Richard Ryan and Charlie Ryan, and sisters, Phyllis Pape and Virginia Sweene. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Monday beginning at 2 p.m. with a funeral service following the visitation with Rev. Matt Eichhorn officiating. Facial coverings and social distancing are required.
