Patricia Warner Ward

Patricia Warner Ward, 89, of Frostburg, died June 27, 2026, at Mountain City Rehab Center. Born December 11,1936, daughter of Harold S. Warner and Beulah Geneva (Coleman). Preceded in death by her parents, husband Sidney Ward, sister Doris Pritts, brother Harold Warner, an infant brother Frank, and niece Debra Griffiths.

 Survived by several nieces and nephews. Patricia was a 1955 graduate of Somerset Area High School and a 1959 graduate of Clarion State Teachers College. She retired in 1996 following a long career as a librarian at Frostburg State University. In addition to being an avid reader, all who knew Patricia could attest that she was dedicated to the care and wellbeing of animals.

 No viewing or visitation. A private service will be held. Interment: Somerset County Memorial Park.
