Rosalie (Morgan) Adams, 90 years old, of Carlos, MD, went to be with the Lord on 8-12-24 at 1:30 AM. Rosalie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary, her father, Sam Morgan, and her mother and best friend, Mary Morgan. She is survived by her two children, daughter Lynn Clark and her husband Steve, and son Alan Adams and his wife Linda. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Sarah Szabo and her husband Chris, Chris Adams and his wife Becca, and Ryan Clark and his wife Kathryn. Rosalie was blessed with six great-grandchildren—Landon, Aubrey, Abigail, Charlie, Wyatt, Avery—and eagerly anticipated the arrival of Adley in November. They were the light of her life, and their love and joy gave her the strength to persevere through her later years.
Rosalie was born on May 15, 1934, in Lonaconing, MD, to Sam and Mary Morgan. She was a member of the Carlos Methodist Church and worked for 22 years in the Frostburg State University Bookstore. She loved to travel with her husband, visit the beach, and enjoy the companionship of her dog, Bear. She is remembered as a loving mother and grandmother whose strength and dedication to her family will never be forgotten. In life, she was fierce and bold, traits that allowed her to fight for life far beyond what many could imagine.
Even in her darkest days, she remained warm and tender, loving to hold hands and tell stories of a life well-lived. Rosalie spent her final years at Sterling Care Nursing Home. Although her world had grown small due to blindness and physical limitations, her heart remained full of love for those she held dear, greeting them always with a smile and a hug. Rosalie requested that her body be cremated with no viewing.
A private family service will be officiated by Reverend Jeffries of the LaVale Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the LaVale Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Sterling Care Nursing Home for making her transition one of peace and dignity. Rosalie will be dearly missed by the many whose lives she touched in her 90 years on this earth.
God gained another angel, and Gary has been reunited with his beloved wife yet again.
