Rosalie Ann McAteer

Rosalie Ann (Warner)McAteer of Frostburg passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born in Cumberland on March 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Patrick G. and Emma (Keefer)Warner. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter Melissa McAteer. Rosalie was the last surviving member of her family.

Rosalie was a graduate of Fort Hill Class of 1956. She then went on to work at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael’s Church and she had worked as a receptionist at Hillside Animal Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years,  Robert McAteer, Sr., sons, Robert McAteer, Jr., Shane McAteer, and Sean McAteer; daughters, Denise Stevens and husband, Scott, and Patricia McAteer; grandchildren, Shellie Stevens,Logan Stevens, Alec Edwards, and Lillian Nizer, and great -grandchildren Addison and Dayton; and special niece, Mandy Schall.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
