Sarah A. Keller

Sarah A. Keller, 89, went home to be with the Lord February 11, 2024 at the Egle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on May 12, 1934 in Vale Summit. She was the eldest daughter of the late John and Bessie Winters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill), her son John (Jack), siblings John (Tommy) Winters, Betty Ann Swartz, and Bessie (Mitzer) Milburn.

 She is survived by her daughter in-law Debbie Keller, son Stephen (Shelli) Keller, daughter Sylvia Craciun, and son Brian Keller. She was blessed to have 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing games including cards, keno, and her favorite Bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles and attending her family reunion. She was a member of the Vale Summit Methodist Church and George’s Creek Senior Center.                              

 Visitation will be at the Sowers Funeral Home on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a funeral service at 6 p.m. with Rev. George Harpold officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Vale Summit Methodist Church or Egle Nursing Home activity dept.

 The family would like to thank Sarah’s caregivers including, Home Health Care Service, Esther Smith, UPMC and the outstanding and caring staff at Egle!

 Interment will be in Vale Summit Cemetery.
