CUMBERLAND- Teri S. (Boettner) Ruppenkamp, 53, of Cumberland went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Cumberland on June 18, 1963 she was the daughter of Marion (Hadley) Stafford Boettner and the late Roy J. Boettner and the late Earlene (Hunt) Boettner. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother Ruby (Weitzel) Boettner. Teri had worked at the Potomac Valley Pharmacy and the Finan Center. She was a member of The Lady of the Mountains Parish at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Cumberland. She enjoyed all family gatherings and holidays and she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved animals and her beloved pets. Teri was an avid reader and she enjoyed the beach and the outdoors. Besides her mothers, she is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Michael C. Ruppenkamp, her brothers Robert Stafford of Frostburg; Harry Stafford and wife Beverly of Rawlings; Rev. Keith Boettner and wife Melanie of Memphis, TN; her sisters Nancy McGowan and husband Michael of Midland; Marion McDonald of Cumberland; and Betsy Green and husband Kenny of Frostburg. Also surviving are brother in law Doug Ruppenkamp of Cumberland and sisters in law Kellie Ruppenkamp Wolk of Cumberland ; Jane Ruppenkamp and Sherrie Smith of Winchester,VA ; and Renee Ruppenkamp of Cumberland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Teri had an infectious giggle that would make everyone smile. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday at 12 noon with Father John Paul Kuzma O.F.M. Cap. as celebrant. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
