FROSTBURG- Vincent E. Densmore ,73, passed on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Born May 16, 1946 in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Vincent A. Densmore and Betty (Negley) Winters and his late step-father Earl Winters. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Densmore, and a son Greg Connor-Densmore. Vincent served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1969. He was a graduate of Beall High School Class of 1965. He had worked at the Mt. Savage Firebrick as plant manager. Vincent was a member of the Vale Summit Methodist Church, Mt. Lodge #99 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, Moose Lodge 348, and the American Legion Farrady Post 24. Vincent loved mushroom hunting, fishing, woodworking, and going to the kids sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine “Kay” Densmore, daughter Becky White and husband Dave, grandchildren, Brennan and Penelope White, Zack Connor and wife Emilee, and Megan Connor and significant other, Jesse Nightengale, sisters, Cathy Winters, Kim Robertson and husband Carleton, and Earlene Crawford and significant other, Randy Collins. Also, longtime friends Bill Hughes, Ernie Drew, and Jack Winters, his dog Bubba, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Densmore requested to be cremated. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
