William Charles Croft, Sr.

Frostburg – William Charles Croft, Sr, 88, of Frostburg, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the Northampton Manor Nursing Home in Frederick, MD.

Born December 15, 1935, in Frostburg, to William and Dorothy (Bean) Croft. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Aleda M. (Hitchins) Croft, his two brothers, Paul Croft and Frank Stott, one of is sons, Robert K. Croft, Sr, and his son-in-law, David J. Wolf.

Bill served his country in the United States Army. He retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company. He was a member of the Frostburg Church of the Nazarene since the age of 8 years. 

His is survived by two sons, William C. Croft, Jr and James E. Croft, Sr, his daughter, Lisa Wolf, his daughter-in-law, Pam (Murphy) Croft, his sister, Betty (Stott) Keeney, his sister-in-law, Naomi (Hitchins) Ziler, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Frostburg Church of the Nazarene located at 150 Center Street, Frostburg with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.

Final resting place will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
