William Hubert Fresh

FROSTBURG- William Hubert Fresh,84, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 surrounded by his wife and children.

Born in Frostburg William was the son of the late Hubert B. and Esther (Love) Fresh.  He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jane Fresh who died in 1993, a sister, Cheryl Fresh Powell, a grandson Danny Beall, Jr., and a daughter-in-law Charmaine Fresh.

William graduated from Beall High School in 1957 and he retired from the Kelly Springfield Tire Company and he was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael’s Church. He moved from Frostburg in 1999 to live in Myrtle Beach for 23 years and retired to Frostburg in 2023 to be with family.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brodie Fresh, sons, William J. Fresh (Debbie), Jim Fresh, Chris Fresh (Tina), step son Bryan Cosner (Shelley), daughters, Tami Martz ( Jerry) , and Julie Small ( A.J.) Also, 11 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, and 13 great-grandchildren, and sister Kathy Bone and husband John.

At Bill’s request, he will be cremated and there will be a graveside service with family.
