Yvonne Folk

 Yvonne (Shaffer) Folk of Fayetteville, PA passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at York Hospital after a short stay.  Born in Cumberland on March 26, 1939, she was the daughter of Vera (Foreman) and James W. Shaffer.

She married John (Jack) Folk on September 5, 1959 in the Frostburg United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Toni C. Fabrick, Hampstead, Md and son Michael A. (Karen) Folk, Hagerstown, Md; Granddaughters, Christine Smith, Allicia (Tony) Ruiz, Kelsey Smith, Hailey Fabrick, Lauren (Nick Huff) and Emily Folk, Great granddaughter Vera Yvonne Ruiz and Great- grandson Wesley Scott Huff, and brothers James (Pat) Shaffer, Ray (Sharon) Shaffer, and Bob (Sally) Hackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Granddaughter Taylor Smith and her son in law, Duane Fabrick.

 She was a graduate of Allegany High School 1958, a member of Mont Alto United Methodist Church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Franklin County Chapter.

Services will be private.

Interment will be at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
