FROSTBURG- Michael William Griffith, 71, passed away on June 7, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Michael was born in Frostburg on June 30, 1950 to the late Donald and Maureen (Grimes) Griffith.
He is also preceded in death by a brother John Griffith.
He had worked as Superintendent of the Frostburg Water Treatment Plant and was Chairman of the Allegany County Liquor Board.
Surviving is his wife Lisa Griffith, brothers, Guy Griffith (Bonny), William Griffith, and sister, Donna Griffith. Also surviving are niece, Amy Davis, nephew, Jason Griffith, stepson, Drake Harden, grandson, Dradon Harden, and beloved dog Sweetie.
Services will be private.
